Why does the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT they have the right to tell the several states how to legislate employment law?
Back in the 1880s the New England states started getting concerned about the number of children in textile factories. They passed laws prohibiting child labor.
The textiles packed up and headed down to North Carolina where the GOVERNMENT knew to let businesses run themselves. Thankfully, the Federal Government knew to let the free market decide on this issue also. It wasn't until much later until SOCIALIST LIBERAL DEMOCRATS stepped in and passed laws preventing companies from any state from hiring children. I hate socialists. Ads |
