"Does the market correspond to the real world?" No. It is a virtual reality that's much closer to a Vegas casino than anything in the real world. "If so what in the real world is improving so much?" Nothing. "Since 90% of the stimulus money will not actually be spent until 2010 - why is the stock market going up?" The stimulus package, at some $500 billion in actual outlays, is only a small percentage of the total bailout package. The total Fed and Treasury bailouts are at $24+ trillion. |
