Hi, its pretty simple.

Go find your friends, people your age, people in your city, people in your school or whatever by using twitters advanced search.

http://search.twitter.com/advanced

Then follow those people. If you follow a lot of people then 75% of the time they will follow you back.

That's how you get followers.
