Check out the following site for help on bypassing a proxy without an external proxy:
http://www.pc-help.org/obscure.htm

You will just get the ip of the website that is blocked and obfuscate it and it will usually bypass the restriction.

(note: It doesn't work on all proxies but it usually works in schools because they aren't configured up to good security standards.)
