The secret here is to view your business as a service provider rather than a technical product. There are lots of architecture firms around all producing a similar product at the end of the day so you need to use personal relationship marketing and solutions based selling as your point of difference in the market. Most people "buy the person" not the brand in your industry. I will always asssume you have the technical ability to do the job because you have a degree, but I will choose you for my project because I like you or my friends have had a good experience with you or your previous customers rave about you on Facebook, Twitter or your web page. Your best leads will come from direct meetings with your target industry clients, networking at places your customers hang out, and your internet presence via a web page and social media sites.
