You got to do a lot of work by generating TRAFFIC to your website.
Without traffic anybody doing online business will be frustrated.

So, there many ways through which this can be achieved. This could
either be paid traffic or free traffic.

On the paid traffic you got to use google adword, revisitor, yahoo can
as well be of help for paid traffic.

However, for free traffic which to me is better, but require a lot

1. Start a blog

2. Use social bookmarking sites to book your articles

3. Post you articles to article marketing sites

8. Post top 10 type of post on your blog (link bait)

9. Cross promote your product/site with other marketers

10. Make how to videos for your niche and post them to Youtube

11. Contribute solid comments on other blogs

12. Add your websites link to well known directories

13. Network Network Network. Online and offline

14. Start a networking group on Linkedin

15. Use Facebook fan pages to attract like minded people

16. Hold online contests

17. Upload pictures of interesting things in your niche to Flickr

18. Make business cards and leave them everywhere

19. Attend events in your niche. Become the expert

20. Outsource and create new articles each week

21. Hire a virtual assistant and have them build high quality links for your site etc
