If I am starting a business and need a website, how do I start?

I think these are just some of the steps you could try in putting up an online business.
1. Make a Website:
Hire a web designer. If you don't have budget for web designing and stuff, make an account in Multiply.com where you could also add your friends. You can as well upload bulk of photos/images in this site for free.
2. Make a Network:
I know you have a lot of friends, and I believe that it'll be easy to market once you have already established your site. You can post your multiply website link to your Facebook account or to other social networking sites to make bigger networks. This is what we call in Internet Marketing, the Social Media Marketing.
3. Promote your site. If you're familiar with Search engine optimization, then it's a plus. Remember that some things transacted online is not an overnight process.
