One I can recommend is Craigs List. This has free ads.

Probably the down side is the large number of adverts.

There are of course many ways of getting traffic to your web site. Suggest you get on one of many courses on the Internet. One that I use is a self paced course at this place:

For example, one of the methods I learned and have used is using ezines (electronic magazines). All you need to do is to write abour 400 words of an interesting article of your product or service. Place your link address at the base of the article where you place your profile.
Many search engines scan suzh ezines with their robots. When they do, traffic will come to you.
