Someone called me ugly today and I just want to cry?

Honey, at my age you have heard it all. When I was your age I got called Ugly, Nasty, Homely, Super Nasty, etc. If you stop and think about it - why would anyone say such things? I will tell you why. The majority of the people who said that were UGLY themselves and wanted in their hearts to know someone was worse than them (even if not true), they were trying to fit in and make a name for themselves, or they were just miserable people and wanted someone else to feel just as bad. For whatever the reason, they are all one thing - BULLIES. The way I handle them NOW is to take the attitude that I have not done anything to them or their loved ones. I am sure they would not appreciate someone treating them or their loved ones as they are treating me, and if they can't be bothered I can't be bothered. Ignore them and (sadly) let them find another victim because they could not get a rise out of you. Or better yet, KARMA will take care of them somehow. However if they persist, go to the library find a dictionary and read up on THE BEAT DOWN. They clearly deserve it. Good luck -
