Fiscal conservatives: Do you support the Republican party?

The reason I'm asking this is because the more I look into it, the more it seems Republicans talk about responsible spending and lower taxes, but in reality the just lower taxes and rely on deficit spending to make-up the difference.

If you do support the Republican party, its it because of their fiscal policy or does it have more to do with their platform on social issues.

For the record, I am not trying to belittle anyone with this question. I'm just trying to understand the political landscape better.
