Fiscal conservatives: Do you support the Republican party?

for the most part, i haven't seen a candidate with purely conservative values in awhile, so no, i don't currently support them. ideally, i'd like to see someone who advocates a non-interventionist government with a free market (uh, but that'd debatable in these times, haha) and low/no taxes.

for just about everyone i know who does support the republican party right now, i'm quite sure that they're doing it because of party loyalty, not necessarily because they are partial to the respective platforms. some people are so blinded by their allegiance to their party that they forget exactly what the candidates themselves are saying, unfortunately.
