You need to WRITE your representative and your senators. Write, not email. They pay little attention to emails because they're so easily automated. Written letters they do take notice of.

Also, it doesn't hurt to call. Frequently. Daily. A couple of times a day if you can.

And get involved in the campaigns of those who are running against them.
