What exactly is the difference between Conservatives, Lib Dems and Labour?

I suggest you watch Prime Minister's Question time on BBC Parliament and it becomes pretty clear. Gordon Brown is an experienced and veeery serious (some might say boring but they'd be Tories) politician, who has been looking after the economy pretty successfully for the last ten years.
David Cameron finds it's better use of this weekly questioning session to (beforehand) come up with a series of vaguely witty "soundbites" that the media can then quote, in order to make him look quick-witted and Brown look stupid and slow.
And Nick Clegg... Yeah, who knows?
