What exactly is the difference between Conservatives, Lib Dems and Labour?

In theory, Labour represents the working man and the Conservatives represent business and the well off, while the Liberals hover somewhere between the two.

That is the theory - parties often reverse their ideals to suit what they think will make them popular and get them elected.

In practice, you`re best voting for the people that you think will do the best job of running the country, and maintaining Britain`s standing in the world. I don`t want to influence you, but the current bunch are the most incompetent in my experience of voting since the 1970`s.
