Being purely honest you sound paranoid, and should be asking yourself why you are questioning this. The guy has just had a minor procedure, yes he will feel like he just wants to sleep and will not want any visitors for a couple of days. What you need to ask yourself if why are you so dependent on him needing you, because at the moment your own insecurities are blinding you to his very reasonable needs! It should be about you doing what he needs from you and you being relaxed and ok with that, and yet you are making it all about what YOU need, because YOU need him to want you there so as you feel wanted! It is insecurities like this that generally cause relationships to break down because of the unfair and unreasonable pressure it puts upon the other person in the relationship. Plus he will not be allowed to have his phone on in the hospital because of the way it effects the equipment!
