This question is so confusing, but I suppose I can try to help.

@ is for tagging some one. You know the thing you set up as your "username"? That's what is at the beginning of it.

# is a hash tag. Example) I just spilled coffee on my pants #embarrassing

Most people just learn twitter on their own, and if you don't know these simple basics, then please leave. Okay thanks
