It depend on the type of music you're interested in, but a vocal teacher is a great way to start. He or she will help you to build upon your skills. You can extend your range and strengthen your voice. Good luck.

Also, look into getting involved in as many music programs as possible. Musicals and chorus are great, and things like Drama, even if there isn't any singing, can build stage presence.
