How did you find customers for your new business.?

I am not sure about the door knocking route, but what about cold calling other business/establishments? You can certainly place calls to other business or those people that would benefit from your printing services, maybe schools and other small businesses who may want fliers and other announcement for their own. Do you have other friends or family members that you can network with? Spreading the word about a new business and maintaining a client base is the main factor in success. Do you currently have any employees for your business? You could always staff your employees with polos or basic tees with your company logo or brand and they can become a walking billboard on and off of their work schedule.
