Should I audition for Sm Entertainment 2012?

1) I can't see both your links. Sorry. But yes, looks matter more in SM than in the other companies such as JYP and YG. It is said that SM is about 60% looks and 40% talent.

2) Yep! Definitely! Any age from 12 - 18 is a good age for them as they want you to debut young and if you audition at a young age, you would have more time to train.

3) Depends. If you're applying for the singing auditions, then yes. You do need to sing pretty well or at least be able to show that you can improve. If you're applying for dance, then you'll just have to be able to freestyle well, as in very well in case your singing is bad.

4) By passing, I'm assuming that you meant passing the whole audition and being signed up as their trainee. If that's so, you can go with your parents. However, your parents would have to pay for their own air tickets whereas your air ticket to Korea would be paid for by SM.

5) Nope. They won't give you a song from one of their artists, ex or current. If you're dancing, they are testing you on your ability to FREESTYLE not to follow a routine. Anyone can do that if they had learnt. They are also testing you on your rhythm but that's not a problem as being able to freestyle well also meant being able to follow the rhythm of the music well.

6) They will call you.

7) No one knows. But I think it depends on how many people caught their eye. I would expect more than 1 people to get in though.

8) 3 for the Global Auditions. First is when you go there and audition in front of a group of judges. If you pass that, they will send you an email then you'll have to go and audition in front of a larger group of judges. Finally, if you've passed that as well, you'll receive a call and you'll have to fly to Korea and have an audition with the head of SM.

9) Yes. More people will audition for the Global Auditions than the weekly auditions.

Additional Details: I'm sorry if I'm not very detailed because your questions are actually quite vague and I don't want to sound long-winded. Also, I don't think you should audition this year. You're still young so you should probably wait for next year. In the mean time, you should get some vocal or dance lessons to increase your chances of getting in.
