EST is Eastern Standard Time (UTC-05:00). It is the time used between November and March on east coast US & Canada. GMT is Greenwich Mean Time, also known as Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) and is used in several countries, notably the UK during roughly the same period EST is used in the US
It is NOT currently Eastern Standard Time right now - its Eastern Daylight Time (UTC-04:00), so your band has got that bit wrong. Luckily, Estonia is in Eastern European Summer Time (UTC+03:00) also, so the time difference is unaffected. Estonia is 7 hours ahead of east coast US In short, 2pm EDT is 9pm EEST |
