Would you, or have you, ever set foot in a haunted house?

When I was 14 my moms boyfriend bought a ranch style house that had been vacant for over 20 years. The neighbor told us how there was a couple that lived there and the husband had beaten the wife to death. My mom would wake up in the middle of the night and see a womans figure standing in her doorway but i never believed her until I had came home from school one day and went to my room. There was a slide lock on the outside of my door because it used to be a storage room. No one was home and I heard the lock slide shut. I tried for over 10 minutes to get it open and finally moved my dresser to get out of the side door that connected my room to another bedroom. There was no one in the house and all the doors were locked.
