Iqon-Philips PC will not start up.?

I have an iQon - Philips PC that I have had for about four or five years now, it runs windows XP if that's any help. It will not start up at all, it ran out of warranty two years ago so I have opened it up to try and see what it is that is wrong, I do not have enough money to buy a new one so I am asking here what I should do to fix it and what is the problem in the first place? The PC itself has no signs of life, no light, no fans turning, nothing, and I am suspecting it is the PSU, but I cannot know for sure because I cannot isolate the different system as the plugs cannot be taken out, so I have not been able to see if it will start up without things like the HDD plugged in, I can't see any sign of damage on the motherboard at all, and I can't see any damage on any other circuitry, so I am at a loss, please help!
