You need a Good Manager who can sell,,sell,sell. You need to hire a song writer unless your truly good at that. You also need to realize what your not good at and let others do it for you. You need to record a CD. Get some gigs. Any gig. Word of mouth Travels fast. Hang around music station outings, get to know Radio Producers & DJ's (Don't waster your time. Once you get to know them see if they can play your CD etc..). Don't be intimidated by producers. They are nothing more than a DJ themselves. Get to know them. When Making a CD your local music studio will provide Back vocals and Muscians. and what the heck if you have money make a video using your local Video production company. Make deal with them to do it cheap. and that if this takes off you'll agree for them to make your next video giving them some publicity which could draw others to use their service. See if Fuse or MTV can play your video. It's all about Marketing and Selling!!! The most popular singers are really not the best singers by far look at Britany & the Simpson sisters.
