Gahh, guys please answer! :P Need advice, 10 points to best answer?

So there's this guy and he's sooo lovely and I always catch him looking at me when im at his house or whatever (hes a family friend) and he's always so eager to talk to me in real life, like he'll actually come up and interrupt someone else to talk to me, but online through email or facebook he hardly talks to me and makes it seem kind of like he doesn't like me at all... Anyways, I'm so confused and I really like him but I don't know if it's just a one-sided thing? Any response would be helpful, sorry, I realize how pathetic I sound :-(
