If we always listened to other people in this life and believed them when they put us down no one would get anywhere. Just because you screwed up at school doesn't mean you can't make something of your self just look at some of the famous and rich people today they where not great in school. Music is hard to break into it is a very competitive bossiness so expect a few setbacks but when they come do not let them deter you from your dream. This is your life not there life so do what you feel like doing go for it best of luck.
