Wow. That is confusing, but I think I can help you. When you're at the ball hangout with some of your friends too so she doesn't feel like you're being 'pushy' or anything but still hangout with her part of the time so she doesn't feel like you've forgotten her. And if she doesn't want to go with you as a couple, then ask her if she'll go with you as friends so you're technically going with her, but she won't feel like you're pressuring her to be in a relationship with you.
