You are right, men/women/churches/religions try to make the words spoken by Jesus say what they want them to say, so that the words agree with their own sence of righteousness. You know what the words spoken by Jesus mean in your heart, but will you do as Jesus COMMANDED you or will you do as the churches command you?

Jesus said,
When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. Matt 13:19 (KJV)
