Actually, Yellowbook traces its yellow pages publishing roots back to 1930. Yellow Pages is the category, not a specific brand. Interestingly, the walking fingers icon was created years ago during the monopolistic era of phone companies and no one thought to trade mark the icon. Nearly every publisher in the yellow pages category has a variation of the walking fingers in their logo. Yellowbook did as well, until last year when we elected to modernize our logo to reflect our broad portfolio of print and internet products.
