Ahhhhh the sweet drama of high school. So glad those days are behind me, Obviously your best option is to be honest with your friend. Tell her exactly what you just told us. The entire situation and why you decided you didn't but now do like him. She may be ok with it she may not. But it will be worse if you make up some fairy tale or just go for the guy she likes after you told her you didn't like him. Good luck.
