If someone replies to you, the reply should include the words "@yourusername". When you click on your username listed will be every tweet that includes @yourusername, so ones you've written plus any correctly addressed replies.

If you have none shown either:
no-one replied yet
no-one included @yourusername
twitter has broken (it does from time to time)
