my ex keeps texting me?

My ex girlfriend broke up with me about 8 months ago after a five year relationship. the break up was fine, nothing bad. just one of those typical "i need space" moments. Im still madly in love with her but im over it and just decided to give her the space she asked for. we went for coffee about 2 months ago and it was the first time we'd met since the breakup. it was great we talked for 3 hours and i could tell she missed me at least but i didnt push it. shes been texting me more frequently lately. and all random things. she said she hoped i was having a happy thanksgiving. then thanksgiving day i actually bumped into her at the grocery store and we had a small conversation and i said we should hang out this week sometime and she agreed. the next day she texted me telling me she was watching a movie that made her think of me. and another time just to ask how i was doing. this all happened this past week. she started every conversation and we'd send a few small talk texts back and forth. until the last one i suggested she let me take her out for a drink this week and she said she'd "love to!" So tuesday night im taking her out for drinks and im just wondering what should i do? Do yall think maybe she's realizing she still has feelings for me or is she just trying to stay friends with me? i know the texts dont sound like a big deal but it is because we literally never talk. and if you do think she is interested should i do anything about it or just catch up casually like friends. i dunno. i know i still love her. but i dont really feel like pouring my heart out again just to get embarrassed and rejected and be depressed again. any advice or opinions appreciated. also whats a non-creepy way to ask if she is single? I keep seeing pictures on facebook of her and some guy
