How can I help? (long post)?

My best friend "Nicole" is one of the sweetest people. About her: She's really nice, extremely friendly, funny, outgoing, smart, generous, confident, considerate, and she can be really inspiring when you just listen to her speak about something she feels strongly about. Shes rescued a life and helps with anyones personal problems by listening and giving advice in her free time, speaks out against bullying and all these other things just bc she likes to help others. I don't know how she does it. It's like I'm looking at this perfect little girl (I know she's not, but sometimes it's hard to remember she's not lol) and people LOVE her. Like I was walking down the hall with her and at least 5 people waved, smiled, or complimented her or said hey. It was pretty entertaining to see because then i got a few too lol. Guys always want to talk to her bc she likes video games and sports and they all like her. she's just really like charismatic somehow and here's the thing..She doesnt even have to try! She doesn't wear very revealing clothes, she's just pretty. She doesn't have the perfect body, shes actually the short curvy type, just not fat. And shes not a slut that sleeps around. You couldnt even find one provocative pic of her or Facebook like other teens nowadays. Yet she manages to look HOT in just jeans and a oversized crewneck sweater.. Lol how?! Yeah I get a little jealous sometimes but shes such a good friend to me I can't be mad.
There's this girl "Kennedy" tho. She hates her and is so rude. At lunch Kennedy randomly came up to our table and said to me, "Hey sorry I haven't been talking to you lately, I just really hate Nicole. She's a whore." smiled and walked off. RIGHT IN FRONT OF NICOLE! I felt sooo bad..she just wants to hate on Nicole all the time. But she's so ironic.. Kennedy will say Nicole is a whore and two seconds later she'll turn around and talk about her boobs and how she likes to sleep naked to guys. And she loves to call herself "superior" to others. And Nicole just accepts anything Kennedy says about her. They're total opposites!! Nicole never puts herself above others like that and she's never even called Kennedy out after everything shes said about her. Kennedy came crying to her one day bc she had a pregnancy scare at 17 and after everything Kennedy said about her, Nicole let her stay at her house and comforted her. Later when Nicole was depressed,kennedy said she deserved a bad life and kicked her out of her house. I get so mad thinking about it. I don't get how you can make up lies about a girl to purposely hurt her after everything she's helped you with. (even tho everyone knows how ironic the situation is). Nicole's tough, she can tolerate a ton but today she finally cracked and cried from thinking of all the harsh words from Kennedy. It hurts me too. I don't want to fight Kennedy but getting something ithru her thick skull is harder than walking thru walls.

How can I help? Any advice? I wanna help bc I'd feel terrible if I wasn't there for her after every nice thing she's done for me. Or write something motivational below so I can show her later on? Please and thanks so much. Help my best friend see that she doesn't have to take bs from Kennedy bc I feel like she's starting to believe she is a bad person but we can all see she's a great friend
