Is this anonymous gift a good idea?

the tablet sounds great, especially that you aren't literally paying 100 dollars for it and he MAY think that his workers contributed and added some bucks each to get enough to buy the tablet. Or, if you want to give him the hint that the tablet's from only one person, then you can write a seperate note saying "thanks for being there for me, and ill be there for you, friend/boss!" (sounds cheesy i know) something like that. i would recommend just leaving it on his desk, the old fashioned way, but you might get caught. If you mail it to him and attach the "you're there for me, so ill be there for you boss!" he won't think it's a client, which is good i guess.
