I am having issues with a coworker, how should I handle this?

Bullies don't need to have some sort of vendetta ...they do what the do , because they can . Also you co workers are afraid of the bully ...just like in school ....everyone sided with the bully . As you said she is nasty to other people ...so it's not just you . I suggest you go to someone in a very senior position and let them know what is going , just so it is put on record , you also need to keep dates and time of her bullying or any sort of harassment . If she is saying anything about work related things on fb then she wont get away with that . In the meantime , have nothing to do with her but if she gets physical ...do not retaliate just have her arrested for assault . Your "boss " is way out of line ....it's possible he is also afraid of her . Don't show your fear / disgust , just show your indifference .
