How do i die my hair from brown to pink?

Here's what I do: (obviously you know you have to go blonde to achieve this)

1. Go to sallys and get the following
-the color pink dye you would like
- ion ammonia free lightner
- either 20 or 30 volume developer ( the lower the number the safe and slower it works)
- mixing bowl, gloves, and brush and a plastic cap
- Moisture and protein packet (.99 at sally's)

2. mix the lightner and developer of choice and apply it about an inch from your scalp and let it lighten up about 75% then put the rest on the roots (the reason you do this is because your scalp lets out heat and heat will make your hair lighten quicker. So to achive a blonde that is even do it this way. (DO NOT PUT A BLOW DRYER TO YOUR HAIR WHEN YOU LIGHTEN FOR THE FACT IT WILL FRY YOUR HAIR. IT IS BAD. I'm not yelling its just a strong caution)

3. Rinse it out and put a protein and moisture packet on after you rinse out the bleach. This makes your hair strong after lightening it. If you don't achieve a blonde right away wait atleast a week before re-lightening. This will give your hair time to get stronger again so you can lighten it. I doubt you will have this issue because your hair is not that dark but if you do find this to be true please please please do not re lighten before a weeks time.

4. Add the dye and leave it on for however long it says and rinse it out.

5. Towel dry and blow dry on low heat.

6. Voila!! you are done. and have a perfectly pink color.
