He made a mistake by saying you we're far from his dream girl. He just used the wrong choice of words, poor guy. Please don't feel bad. I don't think he intentionally said in purpose to make you feel insecure. Im definitely sure he's sincere about thinking you're beautiful. And even so, I bet he'll love the way you look with or without the contacts and with glasses. My ex gf thought she looked so ugly when she had to switch from her contacts back to her glasses, but she always looked goregous no matter what. I bet your guy will feel the same. Glasses won't make a beautiful girl ugly.
