Is porn not as degrading these days?

Well, I believe Sex is still a huge Taboo in America; however, it's become like an underground market. Right now is like the 1950's before the sexual revolution. You here is all the time in sex ed, sex is bad, don't do it, it will ruin your life. All that nonsense. However, on a greater spectrum, with the invention of the internet and social media, sex is so open. It's nice, in my opinion, to see people opening up to sex instead of marketing it as the devil. Sex is the basics of life, and porn is a helpful tool to achieve a pleasurable sex life. I am a woman and I watch porn for information. I truly don't find it pleasurable. However, I know tons of women who do. Porn is nothing to be discouraged or disgusted about. Even in the early stages of humans, there would be public sex acts. Porn is actually quite natural. Please, I do not mean this part to be offensive; however, I believe with the development of Western Religion, Sex has become so outrageously discouraged, people have become uncomfortable with their bodies and now won't talk, which is a main cause in teenage pregnancy and a raise in STD levels. So with this new era of openness to porn and sexuality, I think it would be better for us as a people, not a detriment.
