You have to be a programmer to make an app. If you don't have any programming experience, you won't get too far Tongue
MySpace uses mainly Javascript (client-side programming), whereas Facebook uses mainly server-side languages like PHP.

Facebook Platform (for Facebook): http://developer.facebook.com/
