I got twitter hacked?

I had a twitter with the user name TheeEmmaStone, yes it was a fake account. I deactivated it (which means I deleted it). Days later I searched that user name and it came up with it TheeEmmaStone it had the same profile picture, same background but smaller! I look at his/her tweets, and they mentioned I lost followers I had 8,000 that's how many I had. The she/he re tweeted Chelsea Handler's tweet towards me. She/he is basing this account on my old one! I think he/she hacked it, and I e-mailed twitter they said someone with access hacked it, they can't help me! I just e-mailed them again, so they can get this person off, She/he also changed my e-mail and password. I can't get in! WHat should I do?
