How to get the Facebook app for my Blackberry?

Who says downloading costs a lot of money? It depends on the plan you have & if it's unlimited internet, usually it is.

There is blackberry app world you need to download to your phone. It's so you download safe programs that were made for your blackberry specifically. You will need to register by putting in a user name & password, so be sure to save this somewhere in case you need in a few months from now & forget it. After that, the blackberry app world will be on your phone. In there, you type in any application you are interested in putting on your phone.

Also, you can update your phone for free, then anything that is the latest greatest thing to make it work better (including some of the applcations you may like) & features will all be updated to the model & year (now) in case your software was out of date. I did this on an old blackberry that didn't play or record video's & after that it did.

After you have the "app world" on your phone, type in the search box, anything you're interested in. It will show there whether it's free or not. Facebook is free.

Also, you might look in to changing the company you're with, if you're with Verizon, Sprint, T Mobile or AT&T. I bought the boost mobile phone where before I was with AT&T over 10 years & paying about 85.00 for limited talk, ability to put all of my email, a decent text & unlimited internet. I had to pay more for the boost phone, a little over two hundred bucks, but it's a blackberry, works great & it's a flat $60.00. I don't mean 60 plus this fee & that fee, it's 60 period, no more. They have this "shrinkage" plan where if you're good at paying your bills on time (call them to have them set up auto pay on a credit card) your bill will LOWER every 6 months until it bottoms out at $45 a month for UNLIMITED EVERYTHING. Before I had to wait until after a certain time to have rollover minutes & it was unlimited on weekends, but no so during the week days. This boost plan IS unlimited everything, I can talk all day long all week, weekend 24/7 it's SO cool. Bummer thing was that I couldn't take my phone I used with AT&T to boost, the boost phone doesn't have a SIM card. So you DO have to buy their phone. I did the math & it pretty much pays for itself over time & for $45 a month, I don't think that can be beat....

Good luck!
