because Facebook encourages stalking and no one really does anything interesting on it any way. i mean, what's so interesting about half-assed mirror pics, music lyrics as status updates, info nobody cares about as status updates, spam everywhere from advertisements and games? nothing really. people like Facebook for getting notifications because it makes them feel as if what they did has some kind of meaning. You might not like it also cuz everything you do and write is being watched. good for you for not engaging in it!
