Try looking at http://www.hud.gov. That site will have answers. Also the other answer is wrong. Realtors LOVE to sell HUD homes. Right now HUD is offering to the buyer $100.00 down and they will pay up to 3% of the purchase price to be used towards closing costs, repairs, down payment and/or pre-paids. On top of the buyer being happy, the Realtor can receive up to 5% commission. Good money. We love them! HUD is trying to get these homes off the books.
