She seems like an attention whore who doesn't appreciate the people around her and even "reality".

No, sorry I would stop bothering. And yes it's horrible, but you shouldn't be around people who constantly drag you down. It's actually bad for mental health. You need to be around people who make you smile, talk to you, etc.
