Hi,

In the English written language or in America anyway, teenagers use blog, chat, twitter, and Facebook.
I do know that they officially included "texting" as a new verb to the dictionary because texting has become a prominent way to communicate.

Some abbreviations people use include:
lol: laugh out loud
ttyl: talk to you later
thnx: thanks
lmfao: laugh my f***ing ass off
ftw: f*** the world
