Did you type in the correct email address?
Have you checked your Spam/Junk folder?
Double-check both.
I'm not experienced with Twitter, but there should be an option to resend the verification email, so try resending if possible.
If none of the above work, create a new account and make sure every little detail is correct. (:
Have fun twittering (or whatever you guys call it).
