How to let go of someone you love?
This story is quite odd. Many would say that it's the opposite of the way it should be.

My ex-girlfriend broke up with me on the 17th November. We had been together for one year and and eight months and spoke every day. We broke up because she said that she just didn't feel the same. I was reluctant to accept it, but I had to.
From then, I've found it so hard to stop thinking about her. I've grown to hate technology - Twitter, Instagram because it keeps me attached to checking how she is. I've deleted them both now, but there are so many things that remind me of her. Small things. I can't stop thinking about her. I'm just finding it so difficult. I want to get over it more than anything - but when I think of my life without her, it hurts. My mum tells me I should go out with my friends, play PS3 with them, see my half-brother to take my mind from it, keep me occupied, you know? I will try that but I want to detach myself as soon as possible. It hurts like hell. If you have any suggestions, please say. And please don't say 'move on, cheer up, plenty more fish in the sea' - I've grown to detest these sayings. They drive me mad.
Thank you.

Oh, and to anyone in a relationship, don't take it for granted like I did. Honestly. It's the best thing you have.
