Facebook is mainly for the older teens and young adults - those maturing.
Twitter seems to be mainly for those who are matured and are a little older.
Myspace seems to be for the youngsters and for bands trying to get ahead.

Just sort of a basic outlook and generalisation on demographic. So it's sort of dependant on your age group of which would be your preference.
