There is no way to make it take up the full screen. You would need another app.

You can browse the market more conveniently on your computer at market.android.com and install directly to your phone from the web interface if you find one you like.

I don't see the point in a full screen widget though. If it takes up the whole screen, why not just open the app. If you access it that much, you can get to it faster by long-pressing the "home" button to bring up your recently accessed apps.
