As much as you hate to hear it, I know of many examples in my life where someone held on to a crush for far too long. My sister confessed her love to a guy, and he snubbed her. He treated her like a friend, but she never had a chance. A guy liked my wife for years, and I never went for her out of respect for the guy, but when she started dating other guys, I jumped on board, and lo, I'm married to her now. A girl liked me that way, and I said we ought to see where it leads, and than I snubbed her a little (feeling a little guilty here, but what would you do?). Having feelings go in one direction doesn't make them mutual. I can think of many more examples. I suggest you try to move on. At the same time, I did know of a guy that caved in and eventually married the girl who chased him. I wouldn't hold out hope, but if you need some, it has happened in my past.
Anyway, you're plenty young enough. You'll find love some day. Ads |
