Will youtube help me with my dream?

Yes as you could start off as making small films of your own or videos which express who you are and which capture different things and what you aspire to be or just random things because any where's a start, but a variety of things as you want to attract different types of people. Maybe you should watch a few YouTube videos of the type of videos you want to produce and continue from there adding your own ideas and making your productions as unique as possible which would make them more popular and interesting. If you think youtube would be a good start go for it, because you're you and the only person who knows what you want and what you want to get out of thing. It'd also be a confidence booster and give you a little experience in case you wanted to go any further into that type of stuff. But like one of the answer say, you tubers can be harsh, but you could just disable their comments, because as long as your happy with your work it doesn't matter
